As per the latest happening, famous Pakistan Presenter Zainab Abbas has found herself in legal trouble as an Indian lawyer, Vineet Jindal, has filed an FIR against the media presenter over some anti-India tweets she posted nine years ago.

Pakistan's renowned channel Samaa TV reported that Abbas has flown out of India and is currently in Dubai after the advocate stated that he has filed a complaint against the Pakistani international with the Cyber Crime Department of the Delhi Police.

"Complaint against @ZAbbasOfficial (Zainab Abbas) filed by Advocate & Social Activist @vineetJindal19 (Vineet Jindal) with cyber cell Delhi Police. Requesting to lodge FIR under section 153A,295,506,121 IPC and sec67 IT Act for making derogatory remarks for Hindu faith and beliefs and for anti-Bharat statements. Zainab must be removed from the list of presenters on an immediate basis from the ICC World Cup by @ICC & @BCCI. Anti Bharat people are not welcome in Bharat," the statement read.

It has been understood that allegedly, the 35-year-old made some offensive remarks against a specific religion and the country almost a decade ago when her X (formerly known as Twitter) account's username was "Zainablovesrk". However, all those posts have been deleted now.

Notably, Abbas, a renowned TV presenter, got her visa sanctioned by the Indian embassy for the ongoing ICC World Cup 2023, where the 1992 Champions are touted as the firm favourites for a top-four spot.
