The stage for the world's biggest sporting event is being set up at Narendra Modi Stadium in Ahmedabad. The ICC Mens ODI Cricket World Cup 2023 finals will be held on 19th November between India and Australia.

India is an inch away from securing their third World Cup title, whereas Australia will fight for the sixth. However, the home conditions and record unbeaten streak could work in favour of the Indian side.

Having said that, Australia cannot be taken lightly as well. They are probably the only ones who put India in trouble during the early stages of league games. Thus, the battle of titans will be an exhilarating contest for cricket fans across the globe.

Ahead of the big game, predictions and expert analysis are pouring in from all over the world. Former Indian cricketer and fan favourite Suresh Raina also joined the masses.

In a conversation with RevSportz, Raina made a big and bold prediction on Indian batting stalwart Virat Kohli's performance. Kohli, who is in the form of his life, surpassed Sachin Tendulkar's ODI century record during the semi-finals against New Zealand.

He is now the only batter who ever graced the sport of cricket to have as many as 50 ODI centuries to his name. However, Raina expects Kohli to better himself during the finals against Australia.

“He smashed his 50th century in the semi-final and we might see him scoring his 51st in the final against Australia. He likes to play against the Aussies,” said Raina.

Suresh Raina believes that Kohli is a big game player and loves facing the Aussies. Thus, it shouldn't be surprising if the batter scores his 51st ODI ton on the eve of the World Cup finals.

Raina further shared a unique stat. He claimed that Kohli has record eight hundreds against Australia, and nothing suggests that he won't deliver in the title shot match.

Undoubtedly, Virat Kohli's performance will change the course of the finals. He has been the Indian side's anchor for years and will have to step up for one last time to claim the ultimate prize.
