While Ravindra was in the middle of his industrious knock, a invader came in the pitch and tried to hug the Kiwi southpaw. As per the reports suggest, the invader was supporter of Tehreek-e-Labaik Pakistan (TLP), an Islamist party banned by the government in 2021.

The indvader hugged Ravindra and was seen wacing picture of the TLP leader Saad Rizvi before the security personnel caught him and took him out of the ground.

Will The Champions Trophy 2025 In Pakistan Be Suspended?

Before the start of the Champions Trophy 2025, there were a lot of deliberations behind it being hosted by Pakistan. The terror attck on the Sri Lankan team in 2009 haunted the visiting teams, espeically India. Infact, the BCCI did not send their team to Pakistan and their games are being played at the netural venue in Dubai.

The recent event might once again cast a shadow of doubt over the rest of the tournament in Pakistan. However, nothing has been comfirmed by the authorities yet and as it seems the tournament will continue in Pakistan for now.
