Why Rohit gets subbed off? MI head coach reveals

Ahead of the IPL match against Gujarat Titans, MI head coach, Jayawardene attended the pre-game press conference and revealed a shocking detail. As per him, Rohit is carrying a slight niggle and hence, he has been playing more often than not as an impact sub.

As per the head coach, Rohit suffered from the niggle during the Champions Trophy campaign and hence, the India skipper is playing mostly as an impact player, a role he is fulfilling to its potential.

The extend of his injury is yet to be disclosed, but it seems the former MI captain will continue to play as an impact player for the remainder of the season.
