Who Is Vaibhav Pandya, What Is His Relationship With Pandya Brothers?

Star Indian players Hardik and Krunal Pandya seem to share a special bond with Vaibhav Pandya. Interestingly, fans often confuse Vaibhav as a brother of the two cricketers owing to his likeliness with Krunal.

Vaibhav Pandya can often be seen attending IPL games involving Krunal and Hardik, and his Instagram posts from the 2022 final at Narendra Modi Stadium alongside the then Gujarat Titans skipper even went viral across social media.

Who is Vaibhav Pandya?

There is not a lot of information available on the internet regarding Vaibhav Pandya’s actual relationship with the Pandya brothers.

However, there are several websites that indicate that Vaibhav is one of the cousins of the two Indian all-round cricketers.

Vaibhav, also an entrepreneur, started a polymer company with Hardik Pandya and Krunal Pandya back in 2021. As per reports, the two Pandya brothers invested 40 percent each in the business while Vaibhav invested the remaining 20 percent.

In mid-April 2024, when news broke out that Vaibhav duped both Hardik and Krunal of Rs.4.3 crores by diverting their profits, a number of websites described the entrepreneur as a “step-brother” of the two Indian players.

After the two cricketers filed a complaint to the police, Vaibhav Pandya was subsequently arrested and was sent to a five-day police custody.

Hardik Pandya and Krunal Pandya, meanwhile, are currently plying their trade for their respective franchises in the IPL 2024 season. While Hardik is leading the Mumbai Indians group, Krunal is playing under the leadership of KL Rahul for the Lucknow Super Giants (LSG).
