Over the last few seasons, England have produced some fine limited overs players, and one of them has been Will Jacks. The superstar player made a name for himself in the domestic circuit and has quickly risen to the top in England whites.

Apart from England and domestic cricket, Jacks has also carved a name in the Indian Premier League (IPL). He was picked up by RCB in the IPL 2024 season, and the power-packed player replaced Glenn Maxwell in the lineup and also went onto slam a brilliant century against the Gujarat Titans. For England whites, Jacks generally plays at the top of the order, but in Test cricket, he comes down the order at number 6 or 7.

In the IPL 2025 mega auction, Jacks was a hot commodity and was bought by the Mumbai Indians for 5.25 crore. Ahead of the upcoming IPL season, let us look at all the major teams Jacks has played for throughout his career.

Which Teams Has Will Jacks Played For?

1) England

Will Jacks made his England debut during the 2022 T20I tour of Pakistan. He impressed the selectors with his performances and was immediately drafted in the Test format, where he shown and helped England win the series.

In March 2023, he made his ODI debut and since then he has been a regular feature in the England squad.

2) Surrey

It was with Surrey that Jacks carved a name for himself. After making a mark in the Under-19 circuit, Jacks was called up in the Surrey side across formats and for the last 6 years, the talented batter has been tormenting the bowlers with his class.

3) Oval Invincibles

When The Hundred was introduced in 2021, Jacks was bought by Oval Invincibles and in the last 3 years he has played quite a few exceptional innings for his team.

4) Royal Challengers Bengaluru

Last season, RCB played a punt and bought Will Jacks in their team. With Glenn Maxwell out of touch, Jacks was drafted in the side and he silenced the critics and became a batting mainstay before getting released.

5) Mumbai Indians

In the IPL 2025 auction, it was expected that RCB will buy back Jacks using the RTM, however, they sprung a surprise as the franchise decided against using it, thus, the explosive batter went to Mumbai Indians for the 2025 season.
