In the ongoing 2nd Test between West Indies and Pakistan at the Multan Cricket Stadium, the hosts are in deep trouble as the Windies are eyeing a win and are in the driver's seat after the end of play on day 2. 

After stumps on day 2, Pakistan are 76/4 and still require 178 runs to win with just six wickets in hand. The Windies now aim to win the 2nd Test and level the series 1-1. Now with the visitors having a lead in the match, let's look at when was the last time West Indies beat Pakistan in Pakistan.

It is worth noting that the last time West Indies beat Pakistan in Pakistan was back in 1990. It has been 35 years since the side from the Caribbean had a chance to celebrate against the Asian side in Pakistan. When West Indies visited Pakistan in 1990 for a three-match tour, they had registered a win in the 2nd Test, and the series was drawn 1-1. 

In that match, Pakistan, batting first, put 170 runs on the board. In reply, the Windies too couldn't score big and bundled for 195 runs. The hosts faltered in the 2nd innings as well and amassed just 154 runs. It was an easy win for the visitors as they won by seven wickets.
