In the ongoing 2nd Test match between Pakistan and West Indies at the Multan Cricket Stadium, the hosts are in deep trouble as the Shan Masood-led side have lost four wickets for less than 100 runs while chasing a small target of 254 runs. 

Pakistan have been on a roll since they focused on rank-turner tracks at home. They beat "England and also stunned the Windies in the first Test. However, it looks like they are on the course of their first home defeat after some time. 

Babar Azam Fans Takes Centre Stage At Multan Stadium

Eyes were on Babar Azam to help Pakistan chase down the target and seal the series. The former captain started positively but got out on 31 (67), which featured a couple of boundaries. The spotlight was on Babar to live up to the fans' expectations as he is the fans' favourite.

Talking about Azam, he enjoys great popularity and the same was seen on play on day 2 when a newlywed couple attended the match in their wedding clothes. 

According to a Pakistani cricket enthusiast, and digital journalist, Ahtasham Riaz, the couple attended the match on the day of their walima. He tweeted:

"Newly married couple watching match. On the day of Walima, the groom reached the Multan cricket stadium with his new bride. PCB has sent a formal invitation to the bride's request for a photo and autograph with Babar Azam."

However, according to the tribune, the couple had indeed skipped their walima to watch Babar play. "The groom, an equally passionate cricket fan, said, “Today is our wedding day, but I chose to come to the stadium to support Pakistan and my favourite players instead of attending the walima.”

Talking about the match, after the end of play on day 2, Pakistan are 76/4 and require 178 runs to win.
