Virat Kohli’s fans live in every corner of India, and there is nothing to surprise in it. The 35-year-old has stepped up whenever it mattered for over a decade, and his illustrious career, coupled with his aura on and off the field, has helped him to become one of the very best in the business in the history of the sport.
Recently, after a rough T20 World Cup 2024 campaign, Kohli stepped up in the final, scoring a gritty 59-ball 76 in the Men in Blue’s historic seven-run win over South Africa in the final. Kohli won the Player of the Match award, and despite unnecessary criticism, he once again became the hero of the nation.
Virat Kohli's Son Akaay Starts Influencing Fans
During India’s Victory Parade in Mumbai, such a scene made a lot of headlines. Kohli, a father of two children, had a son Akaay, on February 15. It was his and Anushka Sharma’s first son, after Vamika.
There, a fan was spotted wearing Aakay’s jersey, as his name was written on his back. In fact, he himself had a son, and gave the same name to him, as he revealed in a video.
Kohli will be now taking rest, as India will be back in action under Shubman Gill's captaincy in Zimbabwe from July 6 onwards.
