Shaheen Afridi's inswingers with the new ball is always a sight to behold! We saw the glimpse of it again in the opening game of Asia Cup 2023 when Shaheen Afridi produced his trademark delivery to bamboozle Nepal's skipper. It was the first over of the innings and Shaheen as he always does produced brilliance in the very first over to send back two Nepal batters back to the hut.

Over the years, Shaheen Afridi has made a habit to rattle opposition top orders with his world class skills and Nepal batters playing first time against Afridi, were always going to face some problems. Talking about the ball, it was a typical Shaheen Afridi delivery that was full and pitched on middle. It swung late and hit Rohit Paudel on the pads before he could gauge the swing and speed of the ball and was plumb in front. 

He took the review more in hope than anything else, but Nepal's skipper ended up just wasting it as Nepal were reduced to 10-2 at the end of the first over. At the time of writing, Nepal are 28-3 at the end of 6 overs and need someone to play a special knock to take Nepal anywhere close to the mammoth total of 342 posted by Pakistan in the first innings.
