Vaibhav Suryavanshi, the 13-year old kid is taking rapid strides in Indian cricket and has already played in senior domestic tournaments. He has represented India U19 too and has come out with flying colours with his aggressive strokeplay grabbing spotlight. He is now all set for his maiden IPL stint as RR grabbed him at 1.10 Crore in the IPL 2025 mega auction.

He is a left-handed batter who likes to get going from the onset and has shown the ability to hit best of the bowlers out of the part with his elegant bat flow. He is currently the back-up opener for RR with Sanju Samson and Yashasvi Jaiswal likely to open, howvever, both of them are injured currently and it might open the door for Vaibhav Suryavanshi.

Vaibhav Suryavanshi Impresses RR Coach Ahead Of IPL 2025

Rajasthan Royals' official X and Instagram handle have now posted a video of Vaibhav Suryavanshi batting in the training session under the watchful eyes of Vikram Rathour. The video shows immense talent of the 13-year-old as he blasts RR bowlers all over the park in different directions leaving the batting coach in complete awe.

Vaibhav Suryavanshi has so far looked comfortable against both spin and pace and it shows in the clip as well where the batter plays confident shots with great timing and authority. All eyes would be on his progression in the upcoming IPL edition and if he does get a chance he would be the youngest player to debut in IPL.

Rajasthan Royals' fans though would be hoping their star batters, Sanju Samson and Yashasvi Jaiswal get fit soon and be all ready for another blockbuster edition of the Indian Premier League.
