Devon Conway set the stage on fire in IPL 2023 when he scored 672 runs for Chennai Super Kings (CSK) with his classy batsmanship at the top of the order. He has now started off with a bang in Major League Cricket (MLC)  by becoming the first batter in the league to score a fifty as he donned Super Kings' Yellow again, this time for Texas Super Kings (TSK).

He achieved this feat in the first-ever game of Major League cricket. Texas Super Kings took on Los Angeles Knight Riders at Dallas where Texas Super Kings comprehensively managed to beat their opponents.

As far as Conway is concerned, he got to his fifty in 36 balls with a huge six down the ground. It was a tossed up delivery from Zampa on off. Conway got under it nicely and tonked it all the way over long on for a biggie to create history. He, however, departed in the very next ball but has etched his name in history books with a classy and familiar Conway knock in Yellow.

Texas Super Kings won the game by 69 runs as TSK bowled out Knight Riders for just 112 after posting 181 with the bat. The league has started off in an exciting fashion and we can expect plenty of quality action in future.
