The Indian team, led by Rohit Sharma, has completed their journey from Ahmedabad to Pune for their upcoming World Cup 2023 fixture against Bangladesh. About four days prior to their match, the entire team management were welcomed in Pune to a round of applause from cheering Indian fans at the airport, as they made their way to the team hotel.

In a video shared by the Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) on their social media platforms, star batter Shreyas Iyer can be seen metaphorically urging Indian fans to follow their favorite team to Pune for their next chapter of the ongoing cricketing carnival. The cricketer, who compiled a match-winning half-century against Pakistan, said:

“We are off to Pune. Come follow us!”
