One of the oldest rivalry in the Indian Premier League is set to unfold yet again in the 17th edition as Royal Challengers Bengaluru will lock horns against Kolkata Knight Riders at the M. Chinnaswamy Stadium.
The renewed energy to the rivalry has been provided by the re-entry of Gautam Gambhir in the KKR camp, this time as a mentor. His cold rivalry with Virat Kohli has been the talk of the town and it would be interesting to see how things pan out in what is expected to be a high-octane encounter.
One player who is also likely to grab plenty of attention along with Virat Kohli and Gautam Gambhir is Mitchell Starc. He was bought for 24.75 Crore in auction by KKR but had a poor outing in the first game, and would be looking to prove a point against his former team, RCB.
He looks all excited for the encounter and in a video released by Star Sports, Starc is seen talking about his fond memories with RCB and mentioned how he enjoyed his time with Virat Kohli during his RCB days.
