One of the biggest actors in the world, Bollywood star Shah Rukh Khan is not new to the world of cricket, owning numerous franchises across all major T20 leagues across the globe.

Khan co-owns two-time Indian Premier League (IPL) winning club Kolkata Knight Riders (KKR), along with International League T20 (ILT20) franchise Abu Dhabi Knight Riders (ADKR), and was surprisingly seen attending match two of the ongoing ILT20 2024 season, where MI Emirates and Dubai Capitals are clashing off this evening.

During the inaugural edition of ILT20 last year, Khan attended the opening ceremony in Dubai, while performing and promoting his blockbuster movie 'Pathaan'.

Khan could be seen sitting alongside other esteemed dignitaries from the United Arab Emirates. The 58-year-old actor also greeted the owner of Dubai Capitals Kiran Reddy, who also is a co-owner of the IPL franchise Delhi Capitals

The Abu Dhabi-based franchise will kickstart their second ILT20 season on January 21, taking on Desert Vipers. Sunil Narine, who is leading ADKR under his leadership will have players such as Andre Russell, Ravi Bopara, David Willey, Joshua Little, Ali Khan, and Charith Asalanka to name a few.

In the first season, the Khan-run side finished last with three points from 10 matches.
