Ahead of the upcoming ICC Under19 World Cup 2024, India's Musheer Khan was seen imitating several senior Indian cricketers in an Instagram reel in a build-up to the marquee event shared by International Cricket Council (ICC).

In the clip, Musheer, who is former U19 star Sarfaraz Khan's younger brother, emulated shots played by Suryakumar Yadav, Hardik Pandya, and KL Rahul from the ICC T20 World Cup 2022.

The clip, captioned as 'A carbon copy of the senior team stalwarts 👌', the 18-year-old firstly imitated Yadav's six off Ben Stokes over the fine-leg region, then showcased Pandya's monstrous six over long-on against Chris Jordan, both from India's semi-final against England.

Musheer's final imitation witnessed the young player play Rahul's famous whip-shot over the midwicket region against Australia's Pat Cummins during the warm-up tie.

Musheer has been a prolific run-getter in age-group cricket, coming off a decent run in the U19 Asia Cup 2023, where the all-rounder scored 100 in three innings, which included a fifty as well.

India, who are defending champions heading into the soon-to-start tournament in South Africa, will bank on Musheer, skipper Uday Saharan, Arshin Kulkarni, Adarsh Singh, and Raj Limbani to do the heavy lifting.

India placed in Group A, will kick off their tournament with an opening clash against Bangladesh on January 20 and then play Ireland and the USA on January 25 and January 28, respectively. All of India's matches will be held in Bloemfontein.
