Indian star opener Rohit sharma is synonymous with elegance, explosive hitting and a dynamic style of playing cricket. The Mumbai Indians batsman has carved a niche for himself as one of the world's finest openers. 

The former captain of Mumbai Indians is known to play one of the best pull shots in the cricketing world. This has become a trademark shot for the batter and the cricketing fraternity is amazed at the ease and perfection Rohit plays this shot.  

Ahead of the 20th match of the Indian Premier League(IPL 2024) between Mumbai Indians and Delhi Capitals at the iconic Wankhede Stadium, Rohit Sharma showcased his stroke play during a rigorous net session.

In a video posted by Mumbai Indians on their social media, Rohit Sharma smashed a six while playing his trademark vintage pull shot which gained appreciation and cheers "Shot, Rohit Bhai". 

MI's social media provides a sneak peek of Rohit Sharma's aggressive and dominating batting. In the video, we can also see Suryakumar Yadav and the bowling coach of the franchise Lasith Malinga enjoying and admiring the shot played by the star batter.

Mumbai Indians will have some positivity ahead of the game because of Suryakumar Yadav's return to the team. The franchise has had a disappointing start to the cash-rich league with three consecutive losses. 

Rohit Sharma so far has an average start to the IPL season 2024, in three innings he has scored 69 runs, including a golden duck in the last match against Rajasthan Royals. Mumbai Indians will next play its fixture against Delhi Capitals on April 6, 2024(Sunday) at the Wankhede Stadium.
