After clinching the T20 World Cup 2024 title, Rohit Sharma is taking a well-deserved break with his family. Following the Indian team's triumphant return home with the coveted trophy, Rohit Sharma wasted no time in hopping on a vacation to unwind and rejuvenate. 

Joined by his wife Ritika and daughter Samaira, the Hitman departed on Saturday for some quality family time.

Rohit Sharma's journey to lifting the World Cup trophy fulfilled a long-awaited dream. After coming close in previous ICC tournaments, including the ICC World Test Championship and the ODI World Cup in 2023 where India finished as runners-up, Rohit led a dominant campaign in the 2024 T20 World Cup.

Under his captaincy, India remained unbeaten throughout the tournament, culminating in a thrilling final against South Africa at Kensington Oval that went down to the wire.

Rohit Sharma's leadership and contributions were pivotal, earning him acclaim as the tournament's second-highest run-scorer. His aggressive batting at the top of the order, amassing 257 runs at an impressive average of 36.71 and a striking strike rate of 156.70, were instrumental in India's success.

Post-victory, Rohit Sharma announced his retirement from T20Is during the press conference, adding another chapter to his illustrious career.
