Indian wicketkeeper-batsman Rishabh Pant continues to make rapid recovery in a bid to make his comeback to competitive cricket. After missing a year’s worth of cricketing action after undergoing a near-fatal car accident back in December 2022, the 26-year-old was recently spotted hitting the gym for an intense training session.

Taking to his social media accounts on December 5, Pant shared a short training video of himself for his fans and followers, thus signalling his imminent return to the field ahead of next year’s T20 World Cup and IPL 2024 seasons.

Last month, Rishabh Pant found his name among 16 retentions made by the Delhi Capitals franchise for next year’s Indian Premier League (IPL) 2024 season.

The dashing cricketer, who skipped this year’s IPL owing to his extensive injuries caused by his car accident, will be joined by the likes of fellow Capitals seniors Mitchell Marsh, David Warner, Ishant Sharma, and Axar Patel.

A potential comeback to Delhi Capitals for the IPL 2024 season will also bolster Rishabh Pant’s chances of making it into the Indian team for next year’s T20 World Cup 2024. The much-awaited tournament will be hosted by the West Indies and the United States in June.
