Indian cricketer Rinku Singh and his success story emerged from humble beginnings from Aligarh in Uttar Pradesh. Having resided in a modest two-room quarter provided by his father’s employers, Rinku’s journey from these modest roots to a cricketing star reflects resilience and determination.

Even though Rinku boasts of a hefty IPL deal for KKR, a seemingly-permanent spot for the time being in India’s limited-overs setup, the cricketer maintains a humble persona; one which he carries with himself on as well as off the field.

As it turned out, his father Khanchandra Singh also lives by a similar code as he still continues to follow the same life path which allowed his son to become a household name. Khanchandra, who raised his son while working for an LPG distribution company, was recently spotted doing the heavy-lifting by delivering cylinders.

Rinku Singh, meanwhile, recently starred in India’s white-ball series wins over Afghanistan at home and against South Africa in South Africa. The cricketer is currently representing Uttar Pradesh in the 2024 Ranji Trophy season.

Back in November 2023, the 26-year-old was retained by the Kolkata Knight Riders (KKR) for the forthcoming Indian Premier League (IPL) 2024 season. He was retained alongside franchise veterans Shreyas Iyer, Sunil Narine and Andre Russell. Singh will soon return to mainstream action once the IPL 2024 kicks-off in late March.
