India's Prime Minister Narendra Modi met with Team India on Thursday (July 4) at Delhi's Lok Kalyan Marg. Every member of the squad, along with head coach Rahul Dravid, were there to have a conversation before they left the city and headed to Mumbai for a historic victory parade.

ANI posted a few clips of their interaction, and one of them, in which, Dravid and PM Modi chatted for a while. There, Dravid first thanked Modi for inviting them all for having a meeting. After that, Dravid recalled how he consoled when they were having a tough time following India's ODI World Cup 2023 final defeat to Australia in Ahmedabad.

Notably, it was India's first T20 World Cup win since 2007, when they lifted the title in the inagural edition under the leadership of MS Dhoni. They had never won an ICC cup since 2013, and hence, the victory in Barbados meant a world to them.

India, meanwhile, won't have the services of Rahul Dravid any longer, as he initially decided not to continue the job following the T20 World Cup 2024.
