Team India suffered a five-wicket loss as South Africa chased down the DLS-adjusted target to win the second T20I at St George's Park on Tuesday, December 12, to take a 1-0 lead in the series.

Due to rain interrupting the match after India's innings, which saw the Men in Blue putting 180 runs on the board for the loss of seven wickets in 19.3 overs, South Africa had to chase a revised target of 152 runs within 15 overs.

The first innings was a dream for bowlers, and they made the most of it. The ball was swinging and swerving, causing trouble for the batters, and to top it off, as the innings progressed, the ball decided to play some mind games, making it even more challenging for the batters to face spin.

On the other hand, South Africa's innings got off to a flying start, thanks to Reeza Hendrick's quickfire knock. The rain and weather conditions proved to be a stumbling block for the Men in Blue, as the home team achieved the target in just 13.5 overs to register a convincing win.

Amidst all this, a video of the Indian head coach, Rahul Dravid, is going viral on social media. In the video, he can be seen inspecting the wet outfield at Port Elizabeth's St. George's Park and appears visibly frustrated with the conditions.

Earlier, former South African pacer Dale Steyn also mentioned that India was unlucky in the hame. Steyn argued that although India created a lot of chances, they faced difficulties as the ball became wetter after the rain.
