When it comes to cricket, the intense rivalry between India and Pakistan is something that no one can ignore. The two nations have been involved in epic clashes throughout the game's history. 

With cricket evolving into the franchise format, the debate between the fans of the two camps has often centred around IPL and PSL, the T20 Leagues of India and Pakistan, respectively. While Indian fans usually boast of more capital investment, viewership, and more prominent players playing in their indigenous league, PSL supporters consider the quality of cricket their most vital point in the argument. 


Not Interested in IPL

While this debate is not concluding, a recent video might fuel it even more. In a video that has surfaced on social media, the Pakistan national team players are seen completely ignoring the IPL final during their stay at Cardiff. Pakistan is currently in the UK for a four match T20I series, which they are trailing by 1-0 with one match to go.

In the video, we can see that the Pakistan team players are passing by a screen where the IPL 2024 final (SRH vs KKR) is playing. However, none of the players seemed interested in watching or even enquiring about the match situation. 



While this may be normal given the load and pressure of performing in the international circuit, it will be interesting to see how Indian cricket fans react to this. Notably, India and Pakistan will face each other in the upcoming T20 World Cup 2024 on June 9 at the Nassau County Cricket Stadium.
