The celebrations are refusing to die down and rightly so as India ended their 12-year-long Champions Trophy title drought on Sunday after they lifted their third title. The Men in Blue beat the Kiwis by 4 wickets to lift the prestigious trophy. 

Following the win, the players erupted into dance and were seen clicking photos with the trophy. Meanwhile, eyes were on Rohit Sharma and Virat Kohli, as there were rumours that the two veterans might bid adieu to the game.

However, they shut the rumours and clarified that they will continue to play the fifty-over format. Further, Rohit Sharma also spoke to the press, where he talked about the importance of the trophy and how much effort went into winning the Champions Trophy.

His words were followed by a hilarious move, as Rohit forgot the Champions Trophy title on the table and left the press conference, which led to the media manager handing over the trophy and carrying it with himself. Rohit Sharma Proves His Teammates Right 

Rohit is known for his forgetfulness as his teammates too often make fun of him for his carefree nature. Earlier, Virat Kohli remarked that the hitman has often left his phone, wallet, tablets in plane and hotel rooms. Further, in the latest events, Rohit too addressed the allegations during BCCI's annual Naman award. 

During the award show, Rohit remarked that his teammates often laugh at him for forgetting stuff and also refuted such claims. However, his latest actions defy his comments made during the award show.
