Former Indian captain Mahendra Singh Dhoni is currently enjoying his time away from cricket and traveling the length and breadth of India. Dhoni along with his wife Sakshi recently travelled to their ancestral village in Almora, which the couple is visiting after a gap of twenty years.

The couple reached Lwali in Jaanti tehsil on Wednesday and paid their visit to temples before meeting up with their family and friends. As expected Dhoni became the focal point for all villagers, as children and youth gathered around the former India captain to click photos and learn cricket.

Now, in a new viral clip, Dhoni could be seen asking locals for directions after getting lost in the bylanes. However, what is catching the eye of fans is Dhoni's need to drink tea despite all the hassle around him.

In the video, the Chennai Super Kings (CSK) captain is seen first asking for directions and then urging everyone to have tea while moving towards a nearby house.

Meanwhile, Dhoni is expected to play in the upcoming Indian Premier League (IPL) 2024 edition, having led the franchise to a record-levelling fifth title this year. The 41-year-old is also undergoing rehabilitation for his recent knee surgery, which hampered the wicketkeeper-batter in IPL 2023, where the legend played despite pain.
