Simmons' words echoed the sentiment of admiration and concern shared by fans worldwide. Despite the relentless battle with pain, Dhoni exhibited his trademark resilience, steering CSK to a formidable total of 206 runs after his phenomenal sixes. 

Here's what he said:

"Everyone else is more interested in his injuries than he is. He's one of the hardest men I've ever come across. I don't even think we know to what extent he may or may not be in pain. He just carries on and does his thing."

"I'm sure there's some niggles. He just has that ability to ignore what it is and do what needs to be done. We're more concerned about his injuries. When I say we, I mean the public (which) is more concerned about his injuries than he is," Simmons added.

Dhoni's indomitable spirit, his unwavering commitment to the game remains a source of inspiration for generations to come. At the age of 42 years, everytime he still steps out to bat  every cricket fan jumps in excitement regardless of whether or not they are a CSK fan, what resonates with all is that- everyone is a Thala fan!
