One of the key players for Australia in their recent success across formats has been all-rounder Mitchell Marsh

Marsh, once again, proved his mettle in the first Test against Pakistan in the ongoing three-Test series Down Under.

Playing in his hometown of Perth, Marsh slammed 90 in the first and an unbeaten 63* in the second innings, helping Australia clinch the Perth Test by 360 runs and pipping opener David Warner for the 'Player of the Match' award.

A crowd favourite in Perth, Marsh obliged his fans with autographs after the completion of the Test and also handed over his POTM medal to a young fan present in the crowd.

In the clip shared by Cricket Australia (CA), Marsh could be seen interacting with his fans in the northern stand at Perth Stadium and then gifting his prized possession to a lucky fan.

Recently, Marsh faced backlash from Indian fans for keeping his foot on the ICC Cricket World Cup 2023 Trophy, which Australia won, defeating India in a one-sided contest in the final at Ahmedabad on November 19.

Meanwhile, the all-rounder has been included in Australia's squad for the upcoming second Test in Melbourne, which starts on Boxing Day (December 26).
