Maharashtra Chief Minister Eknath Shinde invited Mumbai stars Rohit Sharma, Suryakumar Yadav, Shivam Dube and Yashasvi Jaiswal at his residence 'Varsha' on Friday.

They had the meetup, and Rohit, SKY, Dube, and Jaiswal were all felicitated due to their heroics in the T20 World Cup 2024. However, one thing that caught everyone’s attention was the seriousness of Shinde’s face.

While many felt it was election pressure which led CM to get worried while having the ceremony, the others thought he was like that only. Even SKY was seen laughing while receiving the honour, but CM Shinde was expressionless while giving it to him.

SKY and Rohit will now take a break from the sport, while Dube and Jaiswal will travel to Zimbabwe, where the Shubman Gill-led side will have a five-match T20I series, starting on July 6.

Dube and Jaiswal were initially picked by the BCCI, but due to their presence in the World Cup squad and had to celebrate in the country, they had to miss the first two matches.
