KS Bharat revealed a special celebration act following his magnificent century in the second innings of the first four-day clash with England Lions on Saturday (January 20) in Ahmedabad. The Indian wicketkeeper-batter indulged in a bow and arrow celebration and dedicated his match-saving ton to 'Lord Ram'.

As he reached the three-figure milestone, Bharat took a moment to himself. The earnest Andhra cricketer looked towards the Indian dressing room in Ahmedabad and gestured as if he were aiming with his arrow. It was a dedication act towards Lord Ram.

The clip of Bharat's celebrations has since gone viral on social media and warmed the hearts of all believers and those inclined towards faith.

For Bharat, personally, it was perhaps his most important red-ball hundred in terms of Test selection. Falling off the radar after making an unsatisfying initiation with the side early last year, the backup wicketkeeper-batter brought himself back in contention ahead of the opening Test of the England series, starting January 25.

Bharat walked in immense strife as India A tried to overcome their first-class collapse and finish with a draw against the dominant England Lions in Motera. The steady batter played an unbeaten knock of 116 off 165 deliveries at No.7 and helped the hosts reach safety by the close of play on Day 4.

Bharat's batting prowess had been in doubt after his first five Tests, encompassing the Border-Gavaskar Trophy and World Test Championship (WTC) final, finished with an average of just 18.43 with 129 runs.

The 30-year-old was then dropped for the trips to the Caribbean and South Africa but has been retained in the squad for the first two Tests versus England in Hyderabad and Visakhapatnam.
