Team India registered a thumping 10-wicket victory over Sri Lanka in the Asia Cup 2023 final on Sunday, September 07 at R. Premadasa Stadium in Colombo to bag their 8th title of the continental cup.

Following India's record victory, their star players Rohit Sharma and Virat Kohli were spotted enjoying on the sidelines as their faces beamed with joy. Ravindra Jadeja was also spotted sharing in the celebratory atmosphere.

Regarding the match, India left no room for doubt as they comprehensively outplayed Sri Lanka after being put to bowl first, bowling them out for a mere 50 runs, the lowest total in the history of Asia Cup. 

Mohammed Siraj emerged as the match-winner, crafting one of the greatest ODI bowling performances ever seen, clinching a six-wicket haul. Hardik Pandya also made a significant impact, securing three wickets, and Jasprit Bumrah contributed with one.

India had no trouble in their reply, reaching the target in just 6.2 overs. Shubman Gill notched up 23 runs from 18 balls, while Ishan Kishan, who opened the innings alongside Gill contributed 27 runs from 19 deliveries.
