As the Indian cricket team gears up for the final group stage match of the Champions Trophy 2025, the Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) offered fans a delightful glimpse into the squad’s preparations, releasing a video that captures the players’ infectious energy, camaraderie, and light-hearted banter during a nets session.

The clip, uploaded to the BCCI’s official website, has gone viral on social media showcasing a relaxed yet focused unit riding high on confidence after securing their semi-final berth with dominant wins over arch-rivals Pakistan and Bangladesh.

India's Fun Net Session Ahead Of NZ Clash

The 2-minute video, filmed at a training ground in Dubai, opens with Hardik Pandya attending fans as the Indian team boards the team bus. Rohit Sharma was then seen advising Mohammed Shami. The video was a compilation of clips that saw Virat Kohli in splits after a joke left the whole team gagging with laughter.

The training session also saw some fun catch practising drills too, however, the team also means business hence, in the later part of the video, some classy drives, flicks and punches were also shown coming off from Virat Kohli and KL Rahul's bats.

India’s Flawless Campaign So Far

Under Rohit Sharma's leadership, India has been a force to reckon with in the tournament. Their campaign began with a clinical six-wicket thrashing of Bangladesh. The momentum continued with another 6-wicket win over Pakistan powered by Virat Kohli's ton. With two wins in two games, India has bagged their spot for the semi-finals, seconding Group A with a net run rate of +0.647.

India’s final group-stage match against New Zealand on March 2 is now a dead rubber, but the team is unlikely to take their foot off the pedal as they meet in the Dubai International Cricket Stadium willing to continue their winning momentum.
