In a heartwarming celebration of love, Indian pacer Mukesh Kumar, known for his prowess on the cricket field, recently exchanged vows with the love of his life, Divya Singh. The wedding, a joyous occasion that unfolded in Gorakhpur on November 28, 2023, saw the cricketer taking a well-deserved break from the game to celebrate this significant chapter of his life.

The festivities kicked off with a vibrant wedding procession from Kakarkund village in the Sadar block to Gorakhpur. The marriage ceremony itself took place in a hotel in Gorakhpur, witnessing the union of Mukesh Kumar and Divya Singh. Divya, hailing from Baniapur Berui village in Chapra, now stands as Mukesh's life partner.


To extend the celebrations, a banquet is planned in Mukesh Kumar's village Kakarkund on December 4 for the reception ceremony.

Indian pacer, born in Bihar, took leave from his cricket commitments to partake in the festivities. Notably, he was absent from India's third T20I against Australia at the Barsapara Cricket Stadium in Guwahati. 

Mukesh Kumar made his international debut earlier in the year, showcasing his skills during a Test match against West Indies in July. Subsequently, he ventured into the One Day International (ODI) format with a match against the same opponents. With appearances in one Test, three ODIs, and seven T20Is, the right-arm medium pacer has begun carving his niche in international cricket.

In his recent performance during the second T20I against Australia, Mukesh Kumar contributed to Team India's success by securing one wicket while conceding 43 runs in his four overs. The team went on to win the match convincingly, establishing their dominance in the series
