Adding to the emotional atmosphere, the BCCI released a short video featuring Rahul Dravid, which has quickly gone viral.

In the heartfelt video, Dravid reflects on his journey as head coach, reminiscing about his first match, the highs and lows of his coaching career, the support he gets from his family, and the meaningful relationships and friendships he built with the players.

He also expressed gratitude to the supporting staff and shared the bittersweet memory of losing the 2023 ODI final, while looking forward to the future after his tenure ends.

Dravid confirmed before the tournament that the T20 World Cup would be his last assignment with the Indian team, as he has decided not to renew his contract with the BCCI. Dravid took charge in November 2021, following Ravi Shastri's tenure.

Despite not securing an ICC trophy during his coaching period, Dravid's leadership has been marked by significant efforts and dedication.

Under his guidance, India reached the semi-final of the 2022 T20 World Cup, the final of the 2023 World Test Championship, and the ODI World Cup final in 2023.

As the final match approaches, the "Do It For Dravid" campaign has also gained momentum on social media, with fans rallying for a victory to give Dravid a fitting farewell.

The T20 World Cup 2024 final promises not only a thrilling contest but also an emotional farewell to one of India's greatest cricketing legends, Rahul Dravid.
