In a sudden turn of events, Tanzim Hasan has found himself at the receiving end of a suspected finger injury during the Bangladesh vs Netherlands at St.Vincent.

The incident occurred at almost the culmination of 6th over, when he took the wicket of Max O' Dowd, who handed the ball straight in his hands. As O'Dowd slapped the ball straight towards him, Hasan grabbed it but he did injure his hand as he immediately shook it off.

Later on, as the screen showed Sakib was brought off the field and he got some sort of treatment on his left palm. The physio was seen applying a bandage to him.

Talking about the game,Netherlands won the toss and opted to field first. Although, Bangladesh got off to a shaky start.The bowlers in the last couple of overs faced the wrath of Shakib Al Hasan who smacked 64 runs off 46 balls including 9 boundaries.resulting in a total of 160 runs.

The Dutch got off to a steady start in the second innings, however failed to continue the momentum and were restricted to 134 runs.

With this Bangladesh has finally booked a spot in the Super Eight stage .
