It was after twenty long years that India got the better of New Zealand's side in an ICC event when they defeated the Kiwis by four wickets in the World Cup 2023 that took place in Dharamsala. Adding to India's victory, the sweetener was the firecrackers show that was on display for the audience after the conclusion of the match.

The spectacle that looked charming on television was quite fascinating to watch from the stadium as well, with the night sky looking wonderfully alluring, that too, on a cold night in the hilly region.

People enjoyed the display show in the night, with many cheering to the visibly dynamic showstopper that caught the attention of fans. The BCCI has been doing an incredibly fantastic job by hosting matches in the country over a period of time as the laser and light show during the intervals have become common nowadays.

The match had to be halted for some time, that too for an absurd reason, as the mist covered the entire stadium to the extent that there was hardly any visibility with floodlights and ground as the whole was under fog. However, it didn't had any bearing on the match, with play resumed within a few minutes of its stoppage.

Talking about the game, Mohammad Shami's five wickets and Virat Kohli's 95 runs saw India home against the strong BlackCaps side that were undefeated until now in the tournament. With this victory, India occupies the top spot on the table, having 10 points and will next take on England in Lucknow on 29th October.
