Russell was part of the KKR squad that won the IPL in 2012 and 2014, but he only played seven games in total in both seasons. Despite that, he stayed with KKR for ten years and became an important player in Gautam Gambhir's 2024 team, which led to their victory this season.
This season, Russell has brought a new energy with his dances and songs. He's performed SRK's "Lutt Putt Gaya" multiple times this season and even officially appeared in the song "Ladki Tu Kamaal Ki" with Avika Gor.
