Indian cricket lovers continue to shower the Rohit Sharma-led Men in Blue with immense love and great support ahead of the ICC World Cup 2023 finale against Australia in Ahmedabad.

Billion hopes rest on the shoulders of Rohit and company as they all pray to the heavens for the repeat of 1983 and 2011 hysteria and glory to the country. Fans have even given the players part of India's mighty juggernaut a demi-god status and treating with garlands and offerings on posters around the nation.

At one such ceremony in Pune, cricket lovers were seen offering milk to the posters of the great Rohit and his legendary teammate Virat Kohli, with the duo approaching what could be their last World Cup final in Ahmedabad.

Even though the match will be held in Gujarat, there is a great sense of excitement and anticipation evident everywhere in India and also globally among Indian cricket fans, who will tune in huge numbers to the television and live-streaming platforms for the fixture.

This frenzy resulted in a god-like worship for fans in Pune, who were captured by ANI in a viral clip pouring milks on the posters of Rohit and Kohli and wishing the two giants of Indian cricket the best of all fortunes ahead of the summit clash.

The clip further laid bare the immense love and support Team India has attracted with their excellent performances in the tournament in a spectacular run before the final. Rohit's men had clinched commanding wins in each of their nine league matches and upstaged historic nemesis New Zealand in the semifinal. They stand one such performance and victory away from reclaiming world cricket's biggest crown.
