The England cricket team has arrived in Visakhapatnam for the second Test of their five-match series against India. After walloping hosts by a 28-run margin in the series-opener, the England and Wales Cricket Board (ECB) shared a near minute-long video on their social media platforms, chronicling team’s journey from Hyderabad to Vizag.

Ben Stokes and the rest of his English teammates received a cordial reception at the Visakhapatnam airport, where hundreds of Indian fans lined up just to catch a glimpse of the visiting cricket team.
On January 31, i.e., a couple of days prior to England’s second Test match at the city’s Dr. Y. S. Rajashekar Reddy ACA–VDCA Cricket Stadium, the ECB shared a 46-second video of the team’s journey from Hyderabad to Visakhapatnam on their social media platforms. In the caption, they wrote:
“Thank you, Hyderabad. Hello Vizag.”

The second Test of the five-match series between England and hosts India will be staged between February 2 and February 6. The ongoing fixtures also constitutes a part of the 2023-25 ICC World Test Championship (WTC) cycle.
Earlier in the series, England defeated India by 28 runs in a four-day thriller, despite finding themselves 190 runs behind hosts at the halfway stage of the game. Number three batsman and team vice-captain Ollie Pope crafted 196 runs on Days 3 and 4 of the match to help his side overhaul their huge deficit before setting up a 231-run target for the Indians.
In the decisive innings of the match, debutant spinner Tom Hartley tore through India’s famed batting line-up with a sizzling seven-fer to take England 1-0 up in the series.
