[Watch] BCCI Gears Up To Celebrate Best Of Indian Cricket With Naman Awards

The biggest night that celebrates Indian cricket is back after a gap of four years with the Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) holding the much-awaited NAMAN Awards this evening in Hyderabad. 

This will be first-time since 2020 that the BCCI Awards will be presented which will commemorate performances from both men's and women's cricket in 2023 and also give out awards to outstanding cricketers between 2020 and 2022. 

Taking to social media platform 'X', the BCCI shared the scenes video from the venue of the event, which will be held in Hyderabad, and will see current and former Indian cricketers ascend.

As per reports, former India player and coach Ravi Shastri will be handed the C. K. Nayudu Lifetime Achievement Award for his contributions to Indian cricket both on and off the field, having won the World Cup in 1983 and the World Championship Series in 1985. As a coach, Shastri played an instrumental role in India's Test series wins in Australia in 2018-19 and 2020-2021.

Another player who is expected to have a field day on the awards night is Shubman Gill, who is expected to win the biggest honour of the evening for his stupendous tally of runs in 2023, which includes both international and Indian Premier League (IPL).

The first-ever BCCI Awards took place in 2006-07.
