Pakistan captain Babar Azam commenced his World Cup 2023 warm-up with an imperial 80 against New Zealand in Hyderabad last week. As the legendary batter braces himself for Pakistan’s final warm-up outing, he was recently seen shooting for an ad campaign for the forthcoming cricketing carnival.

Babar Azam was recently seen shooting for an ad campaign for Pakistan’s upcoming World Cup 2023 crusade. The cricketer enthralled one-and-all by posing in front of cameras with a bat in his hand, replicating some of his trademark shots and recreating his on-field celebration.

In one of the segments, he can also be seen encouraging Pakistan cricket fans to keep extending their support for his team at the 2023 World Cup.

Pakistan cricket team arrived in Hyderabad last week just in time to face New Zealand in their first World Cup 2023 warm-up fixture. Despite posting a colossal 346-5 upfront, the ‘Men in Green’ bowlers failed to defend the daunting total against an insurgent New Zealand batting line-up.

Pakistan, under Babar Azam, will now face Australia in their final warm-up outing on October 3 at the same venue.

The Rajiv Gandhi International Stadium will also host Pakistan’s opening World Cup 2023 fixture against the Netherlands. Their match-up is slated to be played on October 6. However, Pakistan’s most anticipated bout in this tournament continues to remain their forthcoming duel against arch-rivals India.

The two sides will cross paths on October 14 at the Narendra Modi Stadium in Ahmedabad.
