All the rumours are quashed as Chennai Super Kings legend, MS Dhoni has not announced any news on his retirement. Before the start of the CSK Vs DC IPL 2025 match, the atmosphere was created in such a way that fans believed that MSD will retire after the game, but that obviously didn't happen.

For the first time in many years, MS Dhoni's parents attended the IPL match and his wife, Sakshi and daughter, Ziva were also present which fuelled the speculation that the "Thala", is set to retire from the league. However, the match ended, and no such news came up. Hence, the question arises, was this a gimmick by the official broadcasters to divert from CSK's poor performance?.

MS Dhoni and CSK have been going through a rough patch in the IPL as the trend continued in the recently concluded match between CSK and DC. CSK once again lost the match in a one-sided battle and aftermath, instead of talking about their poor show, the focus was on MSD.

Fans had their eyes glued to the TV screen as if they were waiting for the retirement news, and it diverted them from the major topic of the day - CSK's horrendous showing against DC. The way after every few minutes MSD's parents and his wife and daughter were shown on the cameras, it stated that something was brewing and would be revealed after the game, but nothing happened.

So, the question arises, was this a gimmick presented by the official broadcaster to divert fans from CSK's loss?.
