Matheesha Pathirana is one the most important weapons for the Chennai Super Kings in the Indian Premier League, but on Saturday, he became a subject of trolls, especially from the Royal Challengers Bengaluru (RCB) fans. The reason is not because of his bowling performance, but has to do with his bowling action.
Why fans are trolling Pathirana?
Interestingly, Matheesha Pathirana's bowling action was previously reported for chucking and as a result, the pacer remodelled his action to continue playing cricket. While many have expressed concerns and want the fast bowler to be banned, it is to be noted that his action is actually legal.

The ace pacer has played in 3 matches so far and has dismissed 5 batters with an average of 19 and an economy of 7.92. In the ongoing clash, he conceded 31 runs and picked up a solitary wicket as DC ended their innings at 183/6. The pacer will hold the key for CSK's success in the ongoing season.
However, one thing is for sure, he has a clear action and a clean chit was also given by the ICC.
