Virat Kohli, the former captain of the Indian cricket team, recently shared his inspirational workout pictures on social media ahead of the first Test against West Indies. Known for his incredible fitness, Kohli showcased his determination to get in shape before returning to the cricket field. His commitment to physical wellness has sparked a revolution among his teammates, raising the overall fitness standards of the Indian cricket team.

'Every day should be a leg day', posts Kohli on Twitter

In a recent post on July 9, Kohli shared pictures emphasising the importance of leg day, stating, "Every day should be a leg day. 8 years and counting."

This post exemplifies his persistent dedication and continuous self-improvement, not just in terms of physical fitness but in all aspects of his game.

In the recently concluded WTC final, Kohli wasn't able to perform up to the mark. He managed 14 and 49 runs in the first and second innings, respectively, as India incurred a crushing defeat to Australia.

Nevertheless, as it seems, Kohli's resilience and determination to bounce back will undeniably fuel his performance in the upcoming series against West Indies. The legendary batter looked off-colour in the warm-up match but will try his heart out to bounce back in the Test series starting this Wednesday in Dominica.
