Virat Kohli was recently spotted spending a cheerful time with his young fans. Seemingly making his way to the gym, Kohli was intercepted by media personnel as well as three young kids, who received autographs from the legendary Indian batter.

The former Indian captain also took time to pose with his fans for a series of clicks in front of the cameras.

Virat Kohli makes his young fans smile before NZ Test

A couple of days prior to India’s third Test match against New Zealand at the Wankhede Stadium in Mumbai, Virat Kohli took time out of his busy schedule to pose with some of his younger fans. The legendary Indian batter also signed autographs for the three young kids, and the heartwarming footage of the same has since gone viral on social media.

Inside the field, Virat Kohli is currently going through one of the worst phases of his batting career, at least in Test cricket. After listing just one fifty-plus score across four innings of the two-match series in South Africa earlier this year, the legendary right-handed batter spent India’s home series against Bangladesh by scoring just 99 runs in four innings at a substandard average of 33 back in September.

Moreover, Kohli notched up just 88 runs in the first four innings of the ongoing series against New Zealand, which included scores of just 1 and 17 in India’s heart-wrenching 113-run defeat in Pune. The outcome also resulted in India’s series defeat, their first at home since 2012.

Mere days prior to turning 36, and just weeks before taking flight for Australia, Virat Kohli will be aiming to get some runs on the board to regain lost touch with the bat. The former Indian captain will now take field for his country at Mumbai’s Wankhede Stadium between November 1 and November 5 for the third Test against New Zealand.
