Virat Kohli and captain Rohit Sharma extended their admiration towards Indian cricket fans for their continuous love and support. The two legendary Indian batters expressed their gratitude ahead of India’s final match of the 2025 ICC Champions Trophy against New Zealand at the Dubai International Stadium.

In a video shared by the official broadcasters of the tournament, both Kohli and Sharma added that the Indian team will continue to remain committed on the field for their passionate fans. Senior all-rounder Hardik Pandya also reciprocated the values shared by the two top-order batters, before urging fans to continue to shower the same love and support in the impending final.

Indian cricket’s ageing warhorses Virat Kohli and Rohit Sharma expressed their gratitude towards Team India fans ahead of the high-octane 2025 ICC Champions Trophy final showdown against New Zealand in Dubai.

In a minute-long video shared by Star Sports India on X, Kohli said that the Indian team always “cherishes and values” the support of its fans, especially in big matches and pressure situations. The legendary Indian batter also urged the fans to support the ‘Men in Blue’ in Dubai at the Champions Trophy final.

Hardik Pandya Makes A Special Appeal To The Fans

Indian captain Rohit Sharma pretty much shared the same values, while senior all-rounder Hardik Pandya confidently assured that Team India will get the “trophy home” to make the most of the love and support of Indian fans.

Team India continues to remain the only unbeaten side of the 2025 ICC Champions Trophy, having topped the Group A points table with emphatic wins over Bangladesh, Pakistan and New Zealand. The ‘Men in Blue’ also walloped Australia in a thrilling semifinal to march into the finals of the tournament.

The India vs New Zealand grand finale will be hosted by the Dubai International Stadium on Sunday, March 9.
