Virat Kohli enjoyed the morning sun in Dharamshala after playing a magnificent knock to upstage New Zealand in the ICC World Cup 2023. Kohli, who lit up the scenic HPCA Stadium with another masterclass innings of 95 in the successful Indian run-chase, soaked in the "pleasant morning" amidst the beautiful Dhauladhar Hills.

The global superstar made a story post for his fans on Instagram and affirmed he is enjoying his time out in the calming scenes of Dharamshala. The clip was from a pool session the great player underwent in the morning after helping India secure another comprehensive win in the ongoing World Cup.

Amongst the most aesthetic places in the world, Dharamshala seems to have warmed Kohli's heart instantly as he deemed the Hill station "beautiful" and soaked in the morning sun after undergoing the rigours of playing duties in chilly weather under lights for India's fifth league game.

Virat Kohli's Heartening Instagram Post

Taking to Instagram, the legend made a story post about the pleasant morning sun in Dharamshala and underlined the place's heartening nature by calling it "beautiful" in caption to his picture, which was taken during a pool session organised for the Indian players for recovery from the fatigue of playing a high-intensity game.

Kohli would've felt the strain more than most despite his unmatched fitness standards, having been there till the end to guide India to another famous win in a run-chase against the BlackCaps. The great right-hander brought his 'A' game to the fore for a memorable knock of 95 in a tricky chase of 274 versus the Kiwis.

The master chaser shared critical partnerships with Shreyas Iyer, KL Rahul and Ravindra Jadeja and stayed strong at his end to help India eventually overhaul the opposition's competitive total of 273/10 after the Indian attack did a wonderful job of restricting the BlackCaps below the 300-mark.

Kohli missed out on a great opportunity to record his 49th One-Day International century, which would've put him on level with maestro Sachin Tendulkar's hundreds tally in the format. But the esteemed batter would've been more than pleased about his contribution to the victory.
