Team India’s Practice Session in Adelaide
Team India started their Border-Gavaskar Trophy journey with a massive 295-run defeat against the home team in Perth. Now, the second Test match will be interesting as it is going to be a pink ball Test match. After winning the pink ball practice match against Prime Minister Xi by 6 wickets in Canberra, Team India has arrived in Adelaide.
Ahead of the second Test, the Team was seen at the practice session in Adelaide. In the video, Virat Kohli and the rest of the Indian side were seen doing warm-ups. Some of the fans were also seen cheering loud for the team and King Kohli from the gallery. The video of Team India’s practice session in Adelaide has gone viral.
Gautam Gambhir is Back in the Squad
After winning the Perth Test with a massive margin, Team India coach Gautam Gambhir flew back to India due to personal reasons. Team India played the practice match against the Prime Minister’s XI under the guidance of the assistant coaches. Ahead of the Adelaide Test, Gambhir joined the team and that was a huge boost for them.
After coming back to the squad, Gambhir has a tough task to finalize Team India’s playing xi for the Adelaide Test. After missing out on the first Test, Rohit Sharma and Shubman Gill are set to come back to the team. Rohit’s role in the playing xi will be crucial as the Jaiswal-Rahul duo delivered a match-winning partnership in the Perth Test match.
Gill’s comeback to the team will shake up the lineup. If Gill comes back at the number 3 position, Devdutt Padikkal may lose his place in the playing xi. In the practice match, Rohit came to bat at the number 4 position. As everything remains in the puzzle, Gambhir has a tough job of finalizing the playing xi for the Adelaide Test.
