In a significant development, veteran Indian batter Virat Kohli has joined the Indian team for the upcoming T20 World Cup in the United States and Caribbean Islands. 

However, as reported by ESPN Cricinfo, it's still uncertain if he will participate in India's only warm-up fixture against Bangladesh tonight at Nassau County International Cricket Stadium in New York.

Notably, Kohli didn't travel with the Indian contingent after Royal Challengers Bengaluru were eliminated from the IPL 2024. 

Despite joining the setup just before the Warm-up clash, the legendary batter has missed three practice sessions, with doubts still looming over his participation in the game. 

However, considering it's India's only warm-up game before the main event, the stylish right-hander might opt to feature in it to get some game time under his belt. 

Meanwhile, team India conducted an optional practice session on Friday morning, with Shivam Dube, Rinku Singh and Mohammed Siraj toiling hard to fine-tune their skills before the mega event. 

Led by Rohit Sharma, team India will play all their group-stage games in the USA . After colliding with Ireland, Pakistan and the United States in New York, the Men in Blue will shift their base to Florida where they will be up against Canada at Lauderhill.
