After a lot of talks and consideration, the Asian Cricket Council (ACC) has finally decided to shift the Asia Cup 2022 from Sri Lanka to the United Arab Emirates (UAE).
With the political conditions in Sri Lanka still not suitable to host five different teams simultaneously, the committee has decided to move the venue away from the Island nation.
Sri Lanka are going through one of the most challenging times in its history, with an ongoing economic crisis and political turmoil.
