The latest edition of the U19 Asia Cup 2024 is slated to get underway on November 29 in the United Arab Emirates. The finest young talents in Asia are all set to create buzz with entertaining matches. One clash is particularly hyped, and that is the India-Pakistan match.

8 teams will be divided into 2 groups with the round robin format being used to compete. In total, 15 ODIs will be played in the tournament and the final is scheduled for December 8. While India will certainly be favourites, the defending champions Bangladesh cannot be underestimated. They were crowned their first maiden U19 Asia Cup title in 2023, beating UAE by a one-sided margin in the final.

U19 Asia Cup 2024: Format and Teams

8 teams will take part in the 2024 edition of the U19 Asia Cup. Group A will feature  India, Pakistan, United Arab Emirates and Japan whereas Afghanistan, Bangladesh, Nepal and Sri Lanka are penciled in Group 2. Both groups will compete within themeless. At the end of group stages, top 2 teams from both groups will compete in semi-finals and then the finals.
